Omar Khan – Community Champion
Don Valley Community Legal Services is very pleased to announce that OMAR KHAN, of Engaged Communities will be presented with the ACLCO Community Champion Award today, May 14, 2021. The Association of Community Legal Clinics Ontario (ACLCO) represents over 77 community legal clinics across the Province of Ontario. DVCLS nominated Omar for his dedication and service to the Syrian newcomer communities, the homeless, and to the facilitation and organization of Engaged Communities. Engaged Communities has brought together residents, youth and agencies together to support residents during Covid.
